Dear all,
I own a 20 year old Ovation
Electric Classic Cutaway Type: OV 9834-0.
The instrument looks as new as on its first day!
Can anybody please tell me what value it may have by today?
Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Achim

I've never even heard of that model number. Can you post a picture of it? Are you in the U.S. or elsewhere?

Hi I'm coming from germany and it looks that the guitar has another type number printed in the instrument passport than you can see in the body.
The body label shows a 1663 and the name ist 'Classic'. It is a nylon string guitar.
A picture can be found here:

Thanks for you help, BR, Achim

Ok, the model number is 1663. Can't see it, but it probably has the stacked volume/tone controls on the waist of the guitar.

It's a real nice instrument and would probably sell on ebay for $450-$650, U.S.

Yes it has the volume/tone control.
Thank you for the info, I guess I will keep it!
