I have just seen a rare video with these two from the early 80's. This concert is to me what the Ovation sound is all about. Not enough is said about these two genius of acoustic preformance. Hey marketing, whatz up?

It's a pity that Coryell has being endorsing Cort for years & I can't recall seeing McLaughlin with an Ovation since the late 70's. It would be good to get some of these guys back in the fold.

Part of the inflight entertainment on the way over to NAMM was a McLaughlin/Paco De Lucia/Coryell concert, with Mclaughlin playing a Legend & Coyell an Adamas. It was interesting that they were miked as well as plugged-in & to me the broadcast sound seemed like it was mostly the mics.

unfortunately Michael, these plsyers are virtual unknowns today, albeit great guitarists.
