Location: Minden, Nebraska | Ditto on the thanks and "Happy Anniversary." I waited years for this site to come into existence and then just occasionally lurked for a year after signing up. Now I get the shakes and other withdrawal symptoms when the site is down....
It really is a great blessing to have access to so much expertise and experience as is found here, along with some delightful humor.
May the best years be yet to come! |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Well thanks everyone. I celebrated by heading to Florida for the weekend with Lisa. After spending the morning with a bunch of friendly Manatee's we attended a Guitar Show with CWK2, Al and a new friend to the fan club Nick, who you will hear about soon. Bought one of those infamous LTD 30th Anniversary "Book" guitars from some guy that thought he knew about Ovation guitars. Funny guy, turns out he used to own a gas station.
So who is Nick? Well I will let Al fill in on that, but I will say it was nice to meet someone that was on the "inside" who also thought the PF-22 would have really put Ovation on the solid body guitar maker map. He should know, as he was responsible for many of the main design characteristics of that guitar. But I will leave the rest of the notes to Al.
Thanks to Al, CWK2, Nick and all the other folks I met in Florida, even if it did rain most of the time.
Most importantly, a special thanks to all those who participate here in the forums, including the lurkers (and you know who you are :) ).
Looking forward to seeing a lot of knew faces at the Ovation Factory Tour 2004. More specific details will be posted soon, so SIGN UP now, it's only about 7 weeks away. |

Happy anniversary for a great site. I hope I haven't ignored you too much in the past few weeks, but I'm sitting at the steering wheel of this new Rover vehicle with a faulty computer waiting to get out on this red landscape and boogie. I'm getting faint radio signals from somebody called Russ at the wheel of another new vehicle called Opportunity on the other side of the planet, his seems to be working. Excuse me while I oversee another download of data. Been a great couple of years.
Love it!! |

Location: Central Oregon | Thanks from me too guys. I was fortunate to stumble in here fairly early on & I've learned a tremendous amount about many things since I've been here. Not only about Ovation guitars, but also about music in general, electronics, even the current events of the world. I've also dumped a Celebrity & purchased 3 USA Ovation guitars since finding this site, the latest one from another OFC member. (Thanks again Tony for making that deal possible.) I've made new friends & had a lot of laughs. Great job fellas!
