| I think you left out computers and the internet..lol
But yeah, in the last 100 years there's been more tech advance than there ever was although I'm not sure if that's good or bad - certainly some things are good but a lot of it I can do w/out. |

* Arthroscopic surgery (yay!!)
* On-line guitar fan clubs
* On line shopping and auctions |

Since the telecaster was invented before I was born, I can't say I saw that, but I was alive for the birth of stomp boxes in the 60's, ovation, four track cassette recorder, adamas, solid state amps and the Parker Fly.
As to computery stuff for recording I don't use it. |

So change my vote to:

What they thought was hi-tech then is so 'lame' now.
Your cell-phone is smarter than all the computers that they used on the Apollo spacecraft.
Forget going to the Library, if for some reason I need to know something I can just 'google' it.
Then be annoyed that I get 2,000 answers when I only wanted one.
BUT! We've lost all those good hand-drawn Saturday Morning Cartoons! :mad:
[no... The Cartoon Network Sux and is not a substitute for Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam!] |

I remember watching "Goldfinger" and thinking "That's cool but it will never happen".
It was the way I made it to the Smoky's Jam last month. |

| The past 200 years has seen more human advancements than all the previous 4 million or so.
Amazing. Very cool time to live. These are the days they will talk about 4 million years from now. If we live that long. |

It was the way I made it to the Smoky's Jam last month. Funny, GPS led us up a narrow dirt road to a locked gate. Or could it be that G8r can't use his GPS? |
