Location: Converse, Texas | So do I need to plan on arriving on Thursday (25) and leave on Sunday (31)? Will that cover all the planned activities? I need to spend about $280 each ticket for airfare, so I need to book my flight soonest. |

Location: Converse, Texas | Thanks guys. And, I gather, we are to bring our Ovations for a jam session? Will the factory "tweek" our O's if we take them in? |

Some of us left on Sat. and some stayed thru Sun. Be patient, Miles will come thru...all good things take time. |

Location: NJ | OK Here is the scoop.
Rick Hall called me last week and told me that he was making the arrangements with the Ramada at Windsor Locks CT for our group.
We are to ask for the Ovation Fan Club or Kaman Music Corp group rate.
Now this is what happened to me: I called the hotel direct and was transferred to the "reservations center" I have no clue where it is but it is not in the hotel. I think I got this transfer because I called too early in the morning. Anyway as I suspected they had no clue about the OFC or Kaman Music Group. So I asked about making a reservation. They have room available and wanted to charge me $89. I am rather sure the usual rate is $79. As I was speaking on the phone I noticed that the rate on the internet is $74.25, I asked about it and got that rate. If you are staying 2 nights the second night is $66 and change. So either go and register at www.ramada.com or call them and make a reservation.
I often notice if you ask for a "business rate" or whatever you get a reduced rate. Anyway call and make the reservations let me know hall you all do. |

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | I just made a reservation on line and it couldn't have been easier. Well, I guess it could have been easier if AL had made and paid for the resevations. I think the $74 is better than what we paid last year. Just right click on Al's link and tell it to open in a new window. |

In a nutshell this is what happens. I have no "comprehensive" schedule but I am sure you can expect something along these lines.
If you want to register go to the members area if you need info on a hotel room go to the announcements section under bulletin board.
sorry I have no other detail at this time. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Yep that's pretty much it. The little Ovation and Hamer elves collect our weary faces in the early am and tuck us in late at night. All we have to do is watch, listen, participate and enjoy.
I posted this once before, as someone who has seen his share of conventions and factory tours of all shapes and sizes, for many industries.... this is a "must see." |
