Even sorting by price is no guarantee. How many little figurines have you run across?

BTW - If you ever feel the need to adopt or mentor some of us younger Ovationists I would love to hold on to any extra guitars that might be getting in your way! I really do appreciate the stories you've been telling. I know there's a lot more in there - don't let up!

Mike, I am actually just looking for a 12-string. It looks like it will be a while before any LX's come off the line. But, I'm thinkin it might be worth the wait. Can you imagine? I'm trying......

And, I am not a collector or hoarder. I have owned some fantastic guitars by O, but as my need for them disappeared, I tended to let them go. I do regret letting go of the rebuilt GC 12 electric to Blubird and my first beige Adamas....I think a late seventies. The one guitar Ovation custom made for me and actually GAVE to me (although I have had many custom guitars made) to do the Hee Haw TV show, a 1717-X, is glued to my body. LOL!! It's just a GC Artist built with AAA top, Kaman bar, really fine burled walnut, OP24 made after they had discontinued the GC line. It was one sweet axe, acoustic or plugged. For the little studio I stuff I still do, I use an early GC artist---no pickup. A '94 Collector's and Country Artist (early)...oh yeah...and a nutmeg T-head. Das all!!
