Here's a balladeer on e-bay..Looks like my 1111-6.. With more wear than mine..

The white top as far as I can tell is not too common... I'm wondering what the ovation repair gurus would do to fix thing thing up... Would it have to be retopped?... I want a guitar for the office and I love my little 1976 Balladeer 1111-6 so much I wouldn't mind having another..

Thanks so much... This place has more information on it than I could have ever imagined!

Depending on the extent of the "repair" quality, why not? The cosmetics may add to a lower price and you wouldn't have to change your name (see customlegendguy). If it really does play "like new" with no offset to action it could be a wonderful "office" guitar.

BUT:

I would too often be bothered with thoughts of having it repaired at probably 2 times the cost to obtain it! If you could just leave it and use it I'd go for it!
