Would just like a variety of opinions on this guitar. Seems quite high to me but I'm new to looking and haven't purchased yet.

Hi...please look lower for a thread on "he paid extra to have Martin make it a 12-string" or something similar. It was thoroughly discussed there. IMHO, it is a nice guitar, but it is NOT worth it.

Looks like a 12 string Adamas (W598-CB) to me. Worth about $1500 tops. Come on....

That is definitely a spendy price, but probably reflects what the owner has in it. There were indeed very few of the Milleniums made, and far fewer made it into the American market. I saw a couple of these go on eBay for around $2k (making no small irony for the Y2K Adamas....) Lately the price has been a few hundred less.

The main selling points were the very cool fretboard inlays and the rarity. This guitar is pretty certainly a one of a kind, but why the heck it was sent to Martin for the mod is beyond me....

All I can say to the seller is, "Good luck!"
