fiberglass tornado?

Joined: February 2004 Posts: 1 Location: Lowell, MA I once owned an Ovation guitar which I'm just beginning to realize was probably a prototype and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. It was essentially a Tornado but the entire body was the black fiberglass like they used on the back of the acoustics. I bought it in the mid 70s and unfortunately I sold it in the early 80s so I don't have it anymore. moody, p.i. Ovation sprayed the guitar with the same material they spray on the bowls. The guitar was wood with that covering. Look in the photo section under Mr. Ovation and you'll see a picture of one.
