Location: Toronto | hi everyone, greetings. im new to the forum. i just moved to canada last year, so ya, i apologize if my english is kind of messed up :p
i purchased an ovation elite t (1778T the black one) last week from a local guitar store and its a bit too expensive i guess, especially after i checked the prices on the internet. doesnt matter tho, i just love the guitar, my first USA ovation by the way, i used to have ovation tangent(sold it when i moved to canada), and this guitar is like a huge leap from my old one
i noticed most of the spec for 1778T on the internet says that it suppose to come with OP30 electronics, now im wondering why mine got an OP-pro?
plus ive read on some sites that this model has been discontinued, or they moved the production to korea or something like that? can anyone fill me in one this one?
neways, great forum, ill be around for sure, ovation rules! :D |

Elite T's are nice guitars. The newer models have the OP-Pro... My 1778T-5 has the OP-30.
The production of Elite T's has been moved overseas, and I don't think anyone has seen the import model yet.
In my opinion, a T is a good choice. |

The Elite T's are great tools. |

And don't forget that most Oragonian's have to go through Warshington to get to their Beaches.

Location: Toronto | thanks guys, ya i do think its a really nice guitar. i tried standard elite and baladeer as well when i was at the store, theyre amazing, but theres just something with this black elite t, haha.
i set my eyes on adamas already, but i think its still way to early for me, lol. im moving to my own place soon, and im thinking about setting up a mini studio, with my electric drum and stuff
and ya, one ovation is definitely not enough xD |
