Has Ovation ever considered building a wireless transmitter into their guitars? Seems like the new style pop in/out preamps might make this a very cool option that could piggyback and be powered by the existing preamp... Could make them tunable to use with different receivers or make a few bucks selling the Ovation brand receiver also.
The less crap I have hanging off my guitar the happier I am :D

Microfrets produced a guitar with a built-in transmitter 30-odd years ago & it was a bad idea back then. Wireless is fine for those that need it. Explain to me the advantages of a wireless system costing a couple of hundred dollars, over a high quality cord, unless you run around on huge stages

Hell, you want real wireless, just play into a condenser mic. When you can do it, it's the best sound there is.
