I get e-mail from Guitar Trader and was browsing through what they have to offer and thought this was kinda interesting. Says "not listed in thier catalogue or in wide circulation" - -is this one of those Europe or Asian market models? If I'm going to spend $829.50, why not go go for the LX models they show the sale price of $999.00? It has a sycamore top (?!?), op-30. The finish actually looks quite nice in the larger inmage page.....

Wonder who writes their ad copy? A Limited "Addition" Does this mean it is different from a Limited Edition?

Since when is Sycamore an expensive top wood?

Sometime on this board we should have a technical discussion of the difference between a solid musically correct wood top and a cosmetic laminate veneer such as is used to line a high grade mobile home or a dashboard of anything less than a Rolls Royce.

Many electric guitars use veneers because the solid body has very little to do with tone, and I think many youngsters are equating a flame maple Les Paul copy with a veneer coated acoustic, thinking if it looks so Paris Hilton whatever, it must be the path to fame.
