(Although I will be coming up with a "whine" of Limeys - did I get that right, Master Templeman? - in tow.) |

As I use my actual real name on the board I'm going to use a pseudonym for the tour. It will be "1189convertedto1689Adamasguy", though I may change that pretty soon. I'll be easy to recognise as I'll be wearing a football helmet. :p |

Location: RI. That small State out East | Bill, unlike last year when we were sitting waiting for a guitar case to show up... I remember having to go to my room to bring out a "brown" case.
Then the creatures (I think it was Al) came up to our table to sniff out what was in the case.
I don't think we will be so shy this year.
It will be more like... Hey you, you a round back or what?
I will bring something old and something new.
And a years worth of BS.
See you next week

Location: Yucaipa, California | For all of those who will be going to the "Tour"... I just noticed that you can buy Digital Disposable Cameras (I guess I don't get out enough) quite cheaply, dare I say for a "song".... how about getting a basket of them for the "Tour Attendies" so the rest of us "poor, poor, pitiful me's" can be tossed a photographic crumb from the Mother's table???

Am I recalling correctly, that there is no bar in this hotel?

I thought I was going to work half a day on Thursday... I don't think so...
For the long distant travelers. I'll bring two for you to play. A 12, and a 6.
Woz.
It's fun for me to hear more than 3 chords. |

You know it just comes with the territory...Jersians need a certain level of blood in their alcohol system.
If we tried a more spiritual approach to dealing with high property taxes, incredibly insane insurance rates, and the collective massive drop in Driver's I.Q's that happens during even the slightest snowfall...the results will be dismal compared to the calming effect of excessive alcohol use.
Personally, I don't drink much...but I have to sedate the beast that lurks in my friend Chris. He's recently moved to PA which has helped some...but travelling through Jersey to CT will trigger some traumatizing flashbacks I'm sure. I'll just set him up in the corner with some Jungle Juice, and everything will be fine.

Location: Tennessee | Huh? I must've misread "UT" as "CT" for the location. Bummer ... I've already booked the plane to the east coast. Guess I'll just show up there anyhow.
lady stonebobbo is scheduled to be there as well but received a (ahem) "request" from work that she be in Calgary next Friday. Still trying to wiggle out of that. |

Location: Upper Left USA | May I suggest you hire "Designated Drivers" to put any unused guitars back in their stands.
And a very musical church service on Sunday for any of the newly repentant (pronounced hungover) to attend.
Have fun all. I do wish I could be with you and I'm soooooo sorry (not) that Willard won't be bringing his 1615 with him to the gathering.
In preparation for the trip you may want to start pronouncing your "R's" like the CTer's do.
Peace |
