Location: SoCal | Did I miss something? Looks like the 'Q'; information updated on March 12, 2004. The back is a new Lyrachord formulation that weighs 33% less than ever before.
New wave-style sound ports
New ANS system neck support

That is interesting!! I thought the Q was still in the planning stage, does this mean it is in production? I thought it was supposed to have more parts made from the graphite reinforcd composite?? |

We saw it at NAMM, we didn't comment on it, read into that what you will. |

Location: Central Oregon | That looks a whole lot like the all composite guitar shown in one segment of the Made in USA DVD. At least I think he said it was all composite. I'd like to try one out some time.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | The "Q" is an all composite, this is not the "Q". This is a Q597 CVT Adamas. |

Location: SoCal | Interesting...the Adamas LX/Q ???
Try finding this in your local guitar shop to try before buy...or even to find literature.
"Back is a new Lyrachord formulation that weighs 33% less than ever before." Sounds like new bowl.
"New wave-style sound ports..." Obviously from the 'Q', same CVT bracing?
"New ANS system neck support." Is this refering to the LX neck changes?
By sellecting "buy now", this seller has them ready to ship. Didn't buy, just checking if available now. Don't like the sound hole design and I have the Millennium coming in. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I'm almost sure Paul is right, the NAMM QA597 sample had the old neck. My picture is too far away to tell for sure. The NAMM sample certainly did NOT have an LX truss rod cover (ugly as it is). I really liked the looks of the Q-wave sound holes, but overall I thought the guitar sounded like shit compared to others on display (Legend LX, Slothead, CL35, ADII). Dave |

Location: Scotland | This would suggest the guitar we saw at NAMM was a prototype. If the production examples have the LX upgrades they'll probably sound a lot better |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | I think we ought to get our resident private eyeglass (Moodypi) to go out and play one of these mystery guitars and report back to the board.
He might be able to intimidate the purveyer (Purp) into revealing who in the MOB (My Other Board) released this guitar with the misleading moniker (Alias, AKA (Also Known As))
