SSSHHH! Quiet! Every time you rejoice about your LX I have nightmares about the prices getting marked up. Kind of the opposite of Walmart's goofy guy slashing prices. (Do they still run those adds?)

I just recieved my LX on Friday and don't want to put it down. I exchanged my 1867 for the 1777 LX and wow I am impressed.... I am glad I made the switch over. I like the Mid-depth bowl better then the shallow bowl.

On a side note, does any one know where to get custom truss rod covers from for an Ovation?

My LX Legend had two shims under the pickup. One was the standard shim that I have seen in other Ovations, and one was very thin. I took the thin one out, and wow! the guitar plays even better. Any one out there thinking about getting a new Ovation, play an LX! :)

An Elite 1778LX-BCB is on my wish list. Have you compared the Legend LX with an Elite LX (not a standard Elite LX)?
