Location: SoCal | We need a meeting place for Thursday evening for everybody coming in. I called our hotel and they recommended to places that are nearby, The Skyline Sports Bar and Restaurant, or the Ramada Hotel. Both have bars.
Unless somebody has a different idea, I'd say lets meet at the Skyline, as it is also a restaurant. I'd don't know about anybody else, but I'm going to be hungry.
Wong and I should be getting to the hotel about 7:30 pm and then over to the Skyline by 8. Our hotel (Homewood Suites by Hilton) as a shuttle bus that can take people over there and pick them up until 10:30. But I'm told that it's just down the street and nobody will get frostbite walking.
Thoughts? |

Location: NJ | I don't know anything about the Skyline, but I can attest that the Ramada had a somewhat "limited" bar and just about the worst Mexican food I've never eaten. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Skyline sounds good. So long as there's food and cold beer :)
Our flight doesn't arrive until 9:30, so if y'all are still at it, I'll look for the table with all the Hawaiin shirts :) |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | I made a friggin deal with the winner of the Iditarod to transport me from Las Cruces. The chickens--t backed out when the weather here hit the 80's. He said "meet me in Ohio and I'll see what I can do, in the meantime you owe me 500 pounds of dog food". I was looking forward to arriving with a championship dog team which I planned on using to intimidate Al Pep and the rest of the New England Mafia. Some things are never to be.

Location: SoCal | Craig, you are so un cool! You don't wear a shoulder rig with a Hawaiian shirt! With a Hawaiian shirt, you tuck the piece into the small of your back.
Now, with my Ovation denim jacket, there's a ton of room for a shoulder holster. And I still tuck it in back. |
