Intonation

How do you adjust the intonation on an Ovation? I've just restrung my Viper bass with flatwounds (wow! what a smooth silky sound and feel), but the intonation is off enough to bother me. I've been successful intonating (is that a word?) my electrics through saddle adjustments, but have never had to do it to any of my Ovations. Anyone out there ever done it or have any ideas? Bass strings have such a big center core that they tend to arch up (away from the body) after passing over the bridge. With some strings its enough to skew the intonation and action.
