Even though I don't drink nor chase Llamas, I still think I could find something to do on the Tour!...
sure wish I could go... but...$$$,
The thought of all those Ovations left alone and unattended...hmmm... you all might have some midnight "Elves" playing your babies!
Have a great time! PICSPICSPICSPICS!

With as much liquid as he'll be drinking that might not be a good idea. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | There was something in one post about "Llama" being the nickname of one of the hotel maids from last year(???)......but I do believe it is just kidding around!!!!
As far as the topic....NO THEY DON'T!!!! I called Ovation Customer Service today and got a message that basically said "we'll call you back when the tour is over". I can imagine how that goes over with an owner who is not part of this group and knows nothing about what is going on. Me, I just smiled.....

The topic was supposed to be about those of us who can't go on the tour this year...
I can't imagine anything worse for the Ovation Factory than to have 100+ fanatics converging on them, each with demands, personal wish lists, suggestions and advice!!... :D
Mother will be rather busy and probably a little testy next week! I know I would be... I mean, who wants to clean up llama droppings from the factory floor!! :(
....still we wait..... and serve....

cwk2, must be an AGGRESSIVE llama!!!! I know Monty Python had a song about a KILLER llama in one of their skits.

I knew you knew and you probably knew that I knew that you knew I knew.... I think....
That's one of the problems with e-conversations... you cannot hear inflections nor read expressions.... unless we make more use of the Graemlins :D

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Brad, I don't think there was 100, unless there was a last minute rush. I seem to remember 130 or so spots on the tour to start and the last number I saw there were left was around 58 or so. Simple math(the kind I do best) says that there were between 70 and 80 probably. Still a bunch of people.
Yep, I wanted to go, too, but my wife and I decided that March in New England wasn't what we wanted to do for a vacation this year. Maybe next. Wish they could move the tour into April, driving to New England in March is not an appealing prospect due to the uncertain weather. I certainly understand why they would not want to do it from May to September (vacation season, plus that is when they build for the Christmas rush).
Tim, the misunderstanding is what I get for trying to be cute....I like playing off of a title or something similar....and then heading in a different direction. I'll try not to be so obtuse in the future! :)

That is still a good crowd.
Yeah...a month or so later would make a better time to do some other things.
I have some out-laws living just northeast of Boston, so that could work.
I try to avoid scarcasim or irony on a forum like this. They can be so misunderstood. On another forum, a long time ago, there was a thread on the Columbine shootings. Trying to make a point indirectly, I used the phrase "but would you invite one over for dinner". I know better now (I hope).
