I can't foonction properly t'DAY!!
Nobody here can understand a fookin' thin I'm SAYin'!!!
It jes gooes t'show - y'spend four fookin' days cramped into a bloody minivan with a pair of Geordie sods an' their "splits", an ya' coom away talking wit a bloody ACCENT!! This could last for fookin' DAYS!!!
Still . . they were a grand boonch, I had a wonderful time and a I miss them dearly already.

By the way,..on the way back to NC they let me carry my guitar on the plane and strap it into an empty seat! I was happy to say the least!Hope to see you guys again soon. |

Location: Scotland | I managed to get the Nylon Viper and the Josh White onto the 747 out of JFK, but they got arsey at Heathrow on the connecting flight home. I was polite but very firm & insisted that the guitars would not go onto the carousel. They put one in the cockpit & another in the closet. The biggest problem, as usual, was my slides. I guess on an x-ray they must've looked like large calibre ammo. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | I was happily surprised that American Airlines let me carry-on my one guitar I brought with me. Paul, I took out the kapo, string winder, and needle nose pliers that are usually in the case and put them in my checked luggage. On our way home, one of the TSA security guys at BDL looked at my case on the x-ray conveyor and says "You go to the factory tour? Man, they make great guitars!" :D
I said, "You should see a lot of folks comin' through", he replied, "These guys yesterday had custom built ones and everything!"
They never wanted to open it once, fit up in the bin, good to go.... |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | BDL looked inside my case. They let me lift the guitar out. and looked in the pick-strap compartment. The only thing i had in their that they were unsure about was the truss road adjustment wrench.For the elite models they are long. I explained what it was for and they looked again at the guitar and remarked how beautiful it was. I said thank you and that was that.it actually was alot easier than Raliegh-Durham where they would'nt let me lift the guitar out of the case- They let me observe and were really careful with it. But i actually enjoyed the flight back home more knowing that my"baby" was strapped in to the empty row of seats directly behind me! |
