Location: Wooster, Ohio | I have been interested in an Ovation doubleneck but really disliked the black cherry burst color. I just bought on ebay a Celebrity doubleneck that is a honey colored curly maple on the soundboard and headstock. He bought the guitar in Japan. Ovation confirmed with me that it was a limited run. Has upgrade to tuner on preamp. I have only seen one other like it. Is there anyway to find out anything about this limited edition. How many were made? Was it possibly just for overseas markets and that is why there are so few over here? Thanks

Location: Miami, FL | Congrats Steve,
I had my eye on that same one due to it being different.
I have only seen one other like this one, so I am not sure who would have specific production info., but it definitely seems to be rare.

Location: Upper Left USA | My wife says I have too many guitars. So if I sold one and got a doubleneck that still counts as only one guitar, right?
Congrats! That one does look special. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Are any of these double neck Ovations made in America? In the "Made in America" program, they show a double neck 12-6 at the USA factory. Is this a custom order? |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | I believe I heard someone say between $6,000 and 7,000 for A Custom Made USA Doublekneck Ovation.
That might would be if it was made like the one they made Richie Sambora..at anyrate as a custom order it is Very Pricey! But Very Nice! :) |
