I note that we are approaching a membership of 2500, whenever a sports team wins a big one, the coach (coaches) are subjected to an ice liquid bath. Has anybody thought of an equivalent ice bath posting that we can use to honor Miles and Al. All suggestions are welcome, we probably have a few weeks to prepare.

Great Idea!! brings Back Memories of the Dean Martin celebrity Roasts on Tv.(Celebrity in this context does not refer to the guitar)
We could have alot of fun with this One.

Good Thinking

A "roast" in a bucket of ice, Miles and Al can really look forward to 2500. Sounds more like the inquisition than a super bowl win.

I'll buy that, I've always revered Torquemado.

problem is we do a pretty good job of "roasting" the two of them every day (at least some of us try)...can't think of much more other than dropping them off of the old Navy piers...hate to suggest it but it would drive them nuts - be nice to them for a week or two, buy guitars, and items from OFC Store...don't think they'd know how to handle it.

Al

I noticed you were away, that's why I sparked this insurrection. I could tell you were away by the faint sound of tom toms coming out of the jungle, and someone with an English accent saying "Things are too bloody quiet, the natives are restless without the Iron hand of Al keeping proper order."
