Serial Numbers

But the numbers stop at 203000 for 1979 and start at 211011 for 1980? So was it made during 1979 and why is there a gap in serial numbers between 79 and 80? There are gaps and inconsistencies. And is a guitar built on December 20th really any different than one built on January 5th? I would say you have a late '79 or early '80 guitar. Just though there might be some reason for the gap in serial numbers between 79 to 80.
