Hi all, I'm occaisonal lurker to the board with a quick question. I have a black 1861 Standard Balladeer w/ the new OP30 preamp that isn't even a year old. It is in excellent condition since it has never left the house(i play for my own personal enjoyment--no gigging or anything). However, I have never been able to get used to the shallow bowl. With the new LX series now out I am very interested in selling my 1861 and using the money to put towards a new 1771 LX. How much can I possibly get for it? It's in beautiful condition, I can post pics if anyone is interested. Thanks! :)

Hi: Music 123 is selling the 1861's for $550-700. If you really want to know what YOU can get, check eBay for a couple of weeks and see what people are actually paying. For some reason the older ones seem to sell for higher than the newer ones. I think that with eBay you can get $375 on the low end and $450 on the high end.
