Location: Tampa, Florida | I just ordered (won!?) a FRG LX elite from Victorlitz for $589 w/ case. NE burst. I have wanted one and for the price, i don't think it can be beat. My 5th Ovation and I'm sure a keeper. |

Location: Tampa, Florida | We'll see. I am looking forward to it. I have had 6 other O's (1 Adamas) and have sent them all on their way. i am over that and still love O's, so I think the LX will be staying around. |

Location: south east Michigan | I looked at that same one at about 6 p.m. Thought about it real hard. Had my finger hoovering over the button. Like I said before....ya snooze, ya loose. It was a GREAT deal.
I w.a.i.t.e.d & w.a.i.t.e.d for the LX to come out, now I'm w..a..i..t..i..n..g for a deep bowl. I know just the one I want. I have a history of keeping my guitars, so I don't want to settle. |

Location: Iowa | I just got the black LX Std Elite from them yesterday(the one that was up for auction last week)...same price too. It plays and sounds really good! Mine has a very, very small ding on the top, but for the price, i can't complain. I'm suprised it lasted as long as it did, since it was mentioned in the Buy/Sell section of this forum. By the way, does anyone know if there is a way to find out what part of the guitar was refurbished? Would the factory have a record of that? |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Slipkid, you will in no way "settle" if you get a mid-bowl LX guitar. When I first joined the OFC, all I did was bitch and bitch about the lack of deep bowl Ovations. At the time my favorite guitar was a deep bowl Adamas 1. The Legend LX has put all that behind me. It has all the tone of any deep bowl Ovation I have played. If the deep bowl LX models sound better than my Legend LX, they will truly be something. |

I think I am over-thinking this purchase a tad to much. I want a Elite LX, dark Cherryburst, cutaway to contrast my Balladeer.
I am looking for my E-bay project to fund at least half the purchase. I should be there in a few weeks. I am thinking (at this instant) that I don't want to wait another 6 months for a deep bowl. Heck, by that time there will probably be some other tempting feature comming up.
Zchord got a fantasic deal. When I did't push the "buy" button I questioned my own sanity.
Thanks for your opinions & suggestions.

Location: Tampa, Florida | Its on its way! I am kind of happy I didn't win a Washburn beater I was bidding on. Gives me less explaining to do to the wife. "2 new guitars?!" I'm looking forward to the LX. |
