I know we have seen Mr. Snakeskin before. Not sure about the other one. I like snakeskin, but they didn't so such a hot job on that model in my opinion.

You guys obviously don't have big hair and tight leather pants..... :D

At the end of the '80's Ovation did make some guitar intended to appeal to rockers and shredders. There were some unusual tops as on the Ultras above, there were the Thunderbolts, and the 88 and 89 Collectors' Editions were clearly designed with electric guitarists in mind.

Those finishes are comparatively rare but $500 for an Ultra better have Brett Michael's autograph on the guitar. :p

ROTFLOL.... Both are probably conditions neither God nor Odin will help us with. (A reference to another thread for those saying, "Huh?")

I agree with Paul B.: "Both are probably conditions neither God nor Odin will help us with." But(t), I'm slightly worried about cliff's reference to "big leather pants". :D

Short from shooting it and putting it out of it's misery.. I'm not sure anything would help! :D

What Steve said. That first one looks like it has the pox, and the second one looks like page 32 in my 11th grade "health" class textbook.

I beg your forgiveness ahead of time. I can't help but thinking the Birdseye would look good in a walnut stain!

Opens up the question over how the keen powers of taste and etiquette possessed by board members could be used for the good of all.

How about "OFC Eye for the Taylor Guy" or something like that. Possibly "TRading Cases" or "This old Axe".
