Well, after all this time I finally borrowed a digital camera and took pictures of my Ovations. For those interested, take a look at the 1627, it is warped but sounds and plays great. I have been battling on whether to have the factory work on it. You opinions please, and we know we all have 'em!

Mario,

Nice pictures of your stringed family! Always good to see OPG (other peoples guitars).

I have read many positive "send it to Kim" stories and not a single regretful story. At least then you'll "know".

Mario:

I recommend sending your guitar to the factory -- and Kim isn't the only one. John Budny has been very helpful to me. And of course, you should go to the factory tour next year.

AND ... they don't all warp like that if they're taken care of properly.

Mario,
If you need work done.. The Mothership is The Place To Send it. You will not be dissapointed with the work.

May I also give testimony? I have two "new" instruments in the past year- an 1127-4 & 1115-1.
Both guitars were sent to the care of Kim & John @ The MotherShip. Twelve weeks, & 8 weeks, respectively. I, essentially, have invested in them the same dollars as their MSRP, in their dates of manufacture. Factor in inflation, and devaluation, and you can see I end up "smellin' like a rose".
SEND THE CRITTER, MARIO!!! Jeez, I can be real opinionated, huh? Beware the fanaticism of the convert!

OK, got the message. I am going to get in touch with the factory and see what I am looking at and stake-out a corner to pan-handle the cash!

Mario, budget one less double-shot, per day, for three months. Probably improve your technique, too. OK Guys, let your prurient minds wallow in that one awhile.
