I've just got stock of the new G7 capo, they're designed & made in the UK and they are absolutely fantastic. I never thought I'd use anything but a Shubb, but these just beat every other Capo out there hands down. They're not cheap, but the best never is. If any OFCer's would like to try one email me. I can do better the advertised USA price

I'm still at my warehouse, I'll try it on my 68 GC 12 (heavy guage strings tuned to C) when I get home & let you know.

Paul,

I would love to try one of these. What is your price including postage to the USA?

Paul, check your email. Cliff, it works on my 1968 12-fret neck GC 12-string up to the 8th fret. I works on the 9th but there's no neck left to play on!

looks good, ordered two.

Paul's previous recommendation was the Power Pick - ordered the small for mando/elec and the large for acoustic. Great product.

Tony, thanks for the unsolicited plug! The website is in desperate need of a facelift & update, the new version will be online in a couple of months. In the meantime this is more representative of our current stock

Well

If you have to have a capo, I can't think of anyone better than Paul T. to reccommend and provide one, does it come in mandolin size?

Hey? If you read about it on the Internet it's got to be true, right? Only quibble might be the price though

Everyone Knows if you read it on the net.. that's it's all true! And so is the National Enquirer, THe Star,..and The Globe...Etc..
I guess the Capo that is best is whatever the player Decides. Temp Likes them..so they couldn't be half bad.

Every 6 or 8 years the next capo that we all have to have shows up, usually about the time the plastic or rubber on our last great capo has deteriorated. I can't list the brands, but I have one of each, cheapest being a plastic covered stainless cylinder that is held on by an early version of the bungee cable with holes to fit various necks like a belt, I have a bunch of these most with elastic sag worse than 20 year old shorts (I have some of these 20 yr old shorts also), a capo that had a screw clamp very similar to a copper tubing cutter, then Schubbs, and he one I am presently using that clamps on like a medical device.

This one of Paul T's looks like the next great capo, I'll probably end up with one to round out my collection. Remember Father's day is coming I think.
