I played my Elite standard LX for worship last night and this morning-performed perfectly. I had a lot of comments about the beauty and sound of it-I played a little with a bud after the service this am, and found the LX can't hang with my Martin. That thing booms. The O is a great stage guitar. Love it more and more each day.

So now you have two wonderful guitars!

Did you have your Bud play the elite so you could hear it?

I could relate. Been playing my 1777LX at service since Feb 04. Previously played my Taylor. The LX drew a lot of compliments. After a few months I decided to play my Taylor today.......but after the sound check, I changed my mind. I had to plug in the LX: It's just that good. Not to mention ease of playing above the 5th fret.

MWoody,
Yeah, my friend Chuck, who used to play in Bo Diddley's band by the way (before he gave his life to the Lord), played the O and loves it-told me not to get rid of it. He told me the same about the Martin (it is awesome). He played my Elite and showed me a couple of original songs that were just incredible-they brought tears to my eyes. I hope we can lay them down together one day soon. Songs about missing out on the life we have been offered. The Elite sounded awesome when standing in front of it. Two more sound guys came and told me how great it sounded-and looked. A fine gigging guitar and a sure keeper. I almost bought a Legend LX, but I found a beautiful Yairi DY84K that I couldn't resist. Yummy koa, you know?
