My 1975 model 1618 needs to have the rubber lap pad stuck back down.. does anyone know what kind of adhesive i should use, also if there is a trick to reattaching it.. any response would be greatly appreciated..

My rubber pad wore out long ago. I took some of my kid's skateboard "grip-tape", cut out a small oval and stuck it on. Works great.

I use 3-M no-skid stairtread from the hdwr store. It's the 2nd thing I do to my Ovations...right after I put new Elixers on! John. <>{
