You know....."Oh girl....I'll be in trouble if you left me now...Cause I don't know where to look for love...."
Sorry about the off topic. I'm just having a brain fart on this.

Good job Enlgishplayer. I did a search in Google and found "The Chi-Lites" and it was also recorded by Glenn Jones.

Thank you gentlemen! I knew the fastest answer would be here. I tried "oh girl" on google and boy did I get some girls!
I am adding it to my song list.

The Chi-Lites had what is considered the "hit" version of the song. Believe it was in 1972 or 1973.

The Chi-lites-the Same Group that also released and had the hit " Have you Seen Her?" It was from the early 70's.
You still hear it alot on oldies stations.
Oh Girl was re-realeased in the 80's by Paul Young.

I thought Al and the Peptones did both of those songs? Cliff had the lead vocals on "Have You Seen Her?" referring to his llama...

Al and the Peptones, I forgot about them. The biggest thing to come out of New Jersey before John Bovi!

And Al-the leader of the group played a strange looking Ovation Double Kneck One of the First Ever Seen..I think he sold it to Richie Sambora. And lets not forget about the matching Mauve Shirts!
