Location: Yucaipa, California | Just received my official OFC Swag from Miles....pretty cool stuff. Thanks Miles!!
I would encourage financial support of the OFC to help offset the costs of keeping this wonderful playground open.... Our Moderators Miles and Al are doing a great job but the dime shouldn't be theirs alone!

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Just wanted to thank Miles for the fantastically speedy service for my OFC swag. I'm now playing my Os with official OFC picks(and darn good ones they are, too)!!!! And covering my balding head with an OFC cap and my middle-age spread with an OFC T-shirt!

B. SWAG means stolen without a gun, or so I thought. |

Location: NJ | I seem to remember when reading "The Pirate Hunter" (biography of the possibly wrongly-accused "pirate" William Kidd), that the term "swag" was given to a cache of goods used for trading with "locals" in return for provisions (fresh water, fruit, livestock, rum).

Location: Upper Left USA | SWAG is an interesting term. I gathered a consensus of what it means to others:
1) Stolen Without A Gun - a bargain or a good deal! Like taking candy from a baby.
2) Scientific Wild Ass Guess. An educated way to pull an answer out of Uranus.
3) Stores (Stowage) We Always Give. Sailor's trading material with Natives and Island Royalty. The beads and trinkets used to purchase the island of Manhattan - most likely by the Founder of New Jersey!
4) To take a shot at or try, then lean the other way. To swagger on a decision or vassilate.
Question: If Al Gore invented the Internet did Dan Quayle invent Spellcheck? |

. . . it's otherwise known as "Union Annuity". . .
. . . and it wasn't "stolen" from the back of the truck . . . it FELL off of it . . . |

Now see Woody, that's what I thought it meant. Made a lot of those (SWAGs)[without the scientific part] in my former Air Force days. |
