I've got a Deluxe Balladeer (serial A-996) shiny deep bowl and all. I'm the original owner. Bought it in spring 1969. And, I know I'll be selling it because I'd rather play my LX.

It doesn't look like the market is wonderful for these great old guitars. If I'm not playing it, I'd rather someone actually enjoy it. But, I don't have to sell it, and I'd hate to sell it for a "pittance".

Any one have any advice?

There seems to be more interest in the shiny bowl guitars than most. I'd post an ad in the OFC "Sell/Trade" section, describing it with model number, serial number and detailed description of conditon, and ask the price you want for it. If you don't get any interest, that is probably telling you that you should keep it. Your best market is probably here within the club.

Take a look at the thread titled "Shiney Bull"...last post on it was June 15. That guitar sold for over $800.
