Location: Huntington Beach, CA | My 1994 Custom Balladeer cedar top is going on Ebay this weekend. This is the best sounding Ovation I have owned/played yet. Comes with OHSC and modest experience. If interested, do your homework and ask questions through Ebay. New owner will not be disappointed. Thanks. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Just wanted to chime in that if it sounds anything like the Guitar Center special S771 cedar-top Balladeer I just bought, it is truly wonderful!!!!! Cedar seems to have a unique, rich sound.

Location: south east Michigan | My GC just got in a cedar top Balladeer. I would say "warm sound" fits.

Location: Huntington Beach, CA | I didn't know they made the S771 with cedar. No wonder they sound so woodsy. That IS a great sound, particularly acoustic.
This one is similar with the matte finish top and 2-piece neck but it has the standard bridge/saddle instead of the "thin-line" type and I think the bowl is deep (per Ovation website). Did Ovation make a mid-depth bowl in 1994? Thanks for the info. |
