Location: NJ | I remember picking up a couple of limiteds in a local music store, the salesman who fancied himself a guitar officianado said " you probably would want them just for parts Al, someone took a bandsaw to them"

Location: Phoenix AZ | You know, Miles I thought of that. Maybe this was cobbled together. Certainly the bridge and saddle could have come from a Deacon or Preacher Deluxe 12. But I don't think so. That neck is not a Deacon or Preacher Deluxe neck, it's unique. A Breadwinner 12 string neck in greyburst. I think this guitar is legit. |

I can't recall ever seeing any official reference to the 6 string version, never mind this oddball. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | It's amazing what turns up I guess. Just when I thought I had one of each... there's another one. However, what looks odd to me on this is the bridge and how it is laying on top of the pickguard as you can see in the close up. But I guess as long as it all works.. no matter. |

Location: SoCal | It's also one of the older bridges. I would have thought that by the time this guitar was built, the newer bridges would have been in production. Using up old parts I guess. |

| It's over the $1,600 mark, with half a day to go!
Maybe the guy who buys it will see this thread someday and laugh about us writing about his guitar. That's happened to me before.
I hope the guy who buys it will write something about it here 9or somehwere on the net where I can find it). It would be interesting to learn more about it.
I bet the seller got it for less than $500, maybe way less. |

I never much liked the look of the Limiteds but this 12-string neck really works with the body shape...looks much more balanced.
I even like the barnburst color on this...but what do I know, I like sparkly blue guitars too...

| One of the most unique solid-body O 12's ever.. Worth every penny paid for it...It looks slicker than the Viper 12...

| hey miles, sure i understand... but, 'aint it funny that a guitar that Ovation just kind of 'threw together' to use up some spare parts turned out to be so unique? that particular body style is classic in their long line of attempts at solid body electrics...but, hind-site being what it is.....go figure!
