Location: Rego Park, NY, | The one and only Ovation guitar I own is my Adamas 1597. I had tried a few of the Ovations in Guitar Center and Sam Ash. I actually came close to buying African Cherry model. The same model that Al has for sale but the time was not right finacially. It wasn't until last July that I saw a deal on Ebay. I couldn't resist. So I just jumped in and closed the deal at the buy it now price. I love the sound of this guitar.
My question is will this guitar stop me from getting GAS?
Hey Al if I do get GAS, I don't think Oxycontin will help.

The bad news is that your new guitar will NOT stop your GAS problem.
The good news is that your NEXT new guitar will :D |

only thing you can do is create a plausible reason for buying another, and another, and another.
my excuse...no one is going to loan me one, can't find it in the store...so gotta buy so I can try it!!
guess I'm the only who believes it but that's fine, I'm fine, its fine...
guess you can tell it has been a weird week ~~ |

I just got one and already am having sleepless nights contemplating another...well, the NEXT one will be the last one, really.

When the symptoms flare up again, my RX is: take one Ovation, and don't call me in the morning. |

The GAS kicks into another gear if you've lusted after one guitar and it "falls through".
Then look out. For days you mope, then get aggresive over little shit.
You start staying up late looking for the ebay fix.
You find 3 or 4 that look real good. Often less ($)than the "lusted" one that got away.
Then bam! You find "the one" that will fit in well with "the others."
YES. This is nice...
You make the play. Sweat for 8 days until the fevor breaks. (When The Brown truck shows up)
IT'S ALIVE !!!!
The vacume rushes out of the house like a deep sea divers brass fitted helmet being twisted off.
Yes, GAS is being studied at Harvard.
They pay my way back and forth. For my research "involvement".
Enjoy the ride. The smile at the end is worth it all.
