Just a quick "Hi!" as I've quit lurking and joined the club. I bought my second "O" last summer - a minty '68 Red Hurricane narrow-neck and absolutely LOVE it! (Still more room upstairs for a Typhoon...) My guitar teacher thinks Ovations sound "too brassy", but even he has said that my Hurricane is one nice sounding unit. Winning them over, one at a time, in NH!

"I want to play guitar, but my fingers don't agree!"

Mitzdawg,

Welcome to the world of O-nuts. If your fingers won't agree, you just have to keep training them; I've been trying to train mine for about 35 years!

Hello from a fellow new Hurricane owner. Mine was also very clean, lovingly cared for, and last weekend I treated it to new strings, a thorough hardware polish, and a setup/intonation tweak. Was good before, now it's true love!

She is Nutmeg color, the only one made, and joins an Adamis 1598 in the family. For as scarce as the Hurricane is, there are several more among the OFC.
