Ok, we have all examined in our hearts.......

There's the Adamas (+ more money) vs Ovation,
there's the legend vs. the elite, and now there's the Lx vs. the regular series.

Ok, let's get closer to the real question.....

Of course, there was Ginger vs. Mary Ann,
there was Jeannie (Barbara Eden) vs. Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery), and there is your choice of which one of the 3 friends.

Ok, now comes the question I must have answered.
I was watching The Sound of Music. Like everyone, Maria (Julie Andrews) is a doll and then there's the evil Baroness (Eleanor Parker). This image is probably ingrained in every adult's brain from childhood. OK, I was watching the film and the Baroness is one VERY, VERY good looking women. If you've seen the movie lately (or at least as an adult).......

Ok, Maria or the Baroness?

Maria of course. Because someday she'll become Mary Poppins. Besides, how can you catch a moonbeam in your hand?

Actually, I think she was Mary Poppins BEFORE she was Maria Callas, but Paul M.'s other reasoning works for me!!!! And inner beauty is far more important than outer beauty.

Adamas, Mary-Ann, Jeannie, Maria. Rearrange the order from time to time, to keep it interesting.

I might "consider" the Baroness . . .

. . . but ONLY if she were bent over the back of the drivers seat of an old Benz convertible Touring Car handcuffed to the burl steering wheel wearing nothing but an SS cap on her head and a leather riding crop in her teeth to keep her annoying yap shut!. . .

. . . . . those Bavarians can be SO . . . how should we say? . . . . "efficient"????

oh, . . . . I almost forgot, . . . . Maria would have to BE there as well, . . . just to "watch" . . . but of COURSE she'd have to be wearing the nun's habit from the beginning of the movie . . .

I know what you mean Brad. Whether it was the outfit or the "Yes, Master" thing I'm not sure. Probably the combination.

But the hands... down Winner has got to be Miss Emma Peal! Attitude, Wit and Black Leather!

Maybe the OFC Guitar should be glossy black with a leather tag - call it the "Avenger". :p

Which band did a song about Emma Peal?

Ahh, yes Emma Peal!

But the one that really did it for me was Natalie Wood, before she got involved with that Wagner whack-off who probably pushed her overboard.

Thanks for THAT thought Niles. Pretty much puts an end to the whole fantasy thing now doesn't it! If anybody actually picks one of them, I'll puke.

Fred needed court ordered anger management and Wilma was the battered victim.

Betty and Barney on the other hand, had it together! No doubt that Barney plays a Stonevation these days!

Something to ask someone to figure out their age: "Which Barney did you grow up with?"

Barney Google, Barney Fife, Barney Rubble, Barney the Dinosaur or Smith Barney. :D

Going back to Mike's post about Barneys....I'm a farm boy, I grew up with a Barn-ey in back of the house.....

Surprised no one has asked "Ann or Nancy?" I'll take BOTH.
