I bought an Ovation Adamas in 2000 from Players Music Company in Hurst Texas (I have called to the number from my invoice but it semas it does not exist any more). Yesterday I plugeted it and no sound; I tryied new battery and phantom power but anything worked (only the green led was blinking. I also reviewed the internal cables but everything seams to be OK. Any idea about where I could get an Optima preamp replacement?

Is there any recent preamp that fits the hole from the Optima?

I would apprecaite your support since I really like my guitar.

Assuming you're the original owner & have the receipt (did you register the guitar with Ovation?) then the warranty should cover it. Call (860) 379-7575 and speak to Kim or John in customer service.

Which model Adamas?

The factory is the place to get replacement parts. I believe that your guitar should be fully covered under the lifetime warrantee if you purchased it new.

The first thing to do is to be sure that the problem is not easily solved. You have already tried the obvious things, such as the battery and wiring. I would double check the wiring and output jacks again, and then depending on what others here might suggest, I would contact the customer service department at the factory. They will get you fixed up properly and quickly.

Welcome to the Ovation Fan Club!
