Location: Australia | I special ordered a 1687 Adamas a couple of years ago and it's incredible.
I'm considering ordering another one or maybe a 12 string.
My question is : Has anyone ever special ordered a 1687 with an original style slotted headstock, or is this even possible ? |

| I ordered a 1687 a few years ago too. It's wonderful!
Hmm, if you are willing to pay, I think you can get anything made. Just email or call Ovation. |

Location: Scotland | There's always the "Dadi conversion" Marcel Dadi had at least one Adamas that had the standard Adamas 1 headstock, modified as a slothead |

Location: Australia | Paul, was Dadi's headstock modified at the factory or done by someone else later.
Any idea ? |

Location: Scotland | I'd guess it was done at the factory, Dadi had a bunch of Adamas, presumably prototypes, which had unusual features. I recall one which had a different configuration for the treble-bout soundholes. |
