hi,

I've got a UKII without a scratch plate and want to add one. Does anybody know were to get the original ones or which can be used instead?

Have you tried the factory? The folks there are eminently helpful. Also, my Viper has a replacement pickguard from 'Paul C's of San Francisco' with the consensus being that it's Chandler Guitars. You might try them to see if they've a replacement for you.

You can send me a check for $50.00 and then call the factory. I saw a pile of them there last week. The part that you'll need to find is the bracket that attaches to the body and p/g, I don't think they have any of those.

CWK 2, how does the factory hold on to these parts for so long? When was the last time they made pickguards for these guitars?
