I have never noticed a solidbody with the "Ovation" molded into the bridge.

A UK II?

No photo of the headstock? I know nothing at all about the solid body Ovations but looks like fun though.

Yes, a later version of the UKII. The bridge is a Shaller made Ovation unit which most of the later solids had.

I'd never seen/held one of these guitars "in person" until just recently . .
I was totally amazed at how much the urelite body actually looked like WOOD!!
Having the process explained to me while holding the product in my hand made me realize how ingenious (albeit, unnoticed/unrecognized -at it's time) an innovation these guitars really were!

It'd be really cool if the next "flavor of the month" discovered one of these and they became the next UltraGP . . .

That Ovation on the bridge is like peterbuilt on the mudflaps. Not really noticable but still a nice touch.
