Playin' & talkin' is 10 times harder. |

They used to play that about a dozen times on all the Good rock stations every Thanksgiving...

I saw Arlo at the Springfield auditorium (Springfield Mass) around 76-77 and he did Alice's Restaurant for the first time in concert in (I think) 10 years. He announced this fact just before he started the song. Very cool. He also did a little talk on how he liked playing Springfield because when he was done, he could just drive home (lives in Washington, MA...maybe an hour's drive).
I can play the song.....and I can sing the song....just not at the same time...
:D
