Check it out. They seem to have some good prices on strings and gear. I don't use Elixir's but they sell in bulk. I just bought some cords from them and they ship right away with no Bull Spoo.

Good prices but do you know how long it would take to go thru 10 sets of Elixirs?

Check out www.webstrings.com. I have been using their el and acoustic strings and bass strings for over a year and have no complaints. Have never seen anything cheaper than this. And they ship very fast too, no shipping charges with an order of $12 or so.

Sorry. I misread your post. I thought you meant chords, and I was really excited to think I could end up buying the chords I haven't been able to play very well!

I had a problem with an order earlier this year. They refunded my money without question.

I have been using them for a while, so recently I decided to try again. Bought 4 sets, put 1 on my 1537, one on my Haida Gwaii #34. Both sound great!!!!

Nice strings for a very low price.

Thanks for the tip Willard. Good outfit. I ordered 5 sets of Elixir Nano lights Tuesday evening about 9:00 PM. They emailed order confirmation right away, emailed me again when they shipped & I had the strings today. About $58 in my mailbox. Great service.

I'm down to three sets already & after I put new strings on the other two that need 'em I'll have one spare set. Now I think I should have gotten ten sets. Oh well, they have more.

I picked up a pack of elixirs a year or two ago and tried them out. Now I use nothing but elixirs on my acoustics, my favorites being elixir custom lights. You just can't beat that sound. For me though it seems like this brand wears out more quickly, although its hard to tell.

After a lot of trial and error - I now use the nano lights on all my electrics!

Steve-

I've only had brief exposure to nano's, but to me they feel practically the same as the poly's. I found this to sum up the maker's views:

"What’s the difference between NANOWEB® and POLYWEB® coatings?

The difference between our coating ‘flavors’ is found in the tone and feel of the strings. NanoWeb® coated strings sound and feel like uncoated strings – they are bright and lively, and the coating is so micro thin that you can barely tell it’s there.

PolyWeb® coated strings have a balanced tone and smooth response – they sound like strings that have been ‘played in’. In addition, PolyWeb® coated strings feel comfortably smooth and help reduce finger squeak."
