Go the the news releases on the Ovation website. There's an interesting reprint of The Music Trades recent article on Ovation.

Yeah.. a very nice article.
At work here we have a warp-speed laser printer. I made a bout a dozen copies in a few seconds. Next time I go into Huber or GC I'll have a couple copies with me.
It seems to me that this type of information just does not get down to the guy talking to the customer. Especialy when it comes to Guitar Center. I'll hand some copies to the people that engage the end customer.
The article gives us fans a nice pat on the back also. Rich Hall refers to the guy who sings the praises of his '72 Ballader. Wow....I am one of those guys.

Great article and on the mark. Makes me even feel better about my LX. I like the referance to the OFC concerns about older models.

Fantastic Article. Vary Educational to those unfamiliar with How the Ovations are Made and The history of the LX development. I think about 100 copies to the local GC is in order. :D

And it seems like they might be trying to make the imports different from the home-grown.

I love the article as an Ovation devotee, but it would have been cool if somewhere in the 6 pages a non-Ovation cat could have played one of the LX's and said something like "oh my gosh, this thing plays like butter and sounds ad big as Texas!". Oh well I can dream ...
