LX Balladeer 12-string....amber finish....Two of them!
Plays like butter, sounds like an angel!
Fantasic looking gloss neck. A real winner.
Manager says they just got them in and I was the first to play it.
I took in some copies of the Ovation article. The store manager left a couple out for customers, some for his staff, and one for him. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | WOW, an LX 12 string. That has to sound great. You noticed that it had a gloss neck, are you sure this was not a Legend LX 12 string? I know the Balladeer LX 6 string has a satin finish neck. I can't wait to play one of these new LX 12 strings. |

If marketing is like the rest there should be a little more selection showing up soon. It is exciting. |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | My 12 string therapy has went totally to hell.
First I saw a 12 string Elite T, now an LX, I am trying to convince my daughter, a school teacher, and my wife, a dignified great grandmother, that prostitution might add some excitement to their otherwise satisfyingly moral life. My house is being featured on DiTech as a candidate for a second mortgage at 20% and my car has a big for sale sign on the windshield that makes it awful hard to drive to the store.
I have listed on Ebay the Doulton china with the hand painted periwinkels, (same as that used in Buckingham Palace)
THANKS A LOT!! |

$1100.. Sounds like alot of bang for the buck. Of course, we know Ovation has always offered good value. |

Check this out... about 1/3 the cost of solid granite, no demolition involved and $$$ left over for LX12!

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | The pictures of the Legend LX 12 string on Elderly's site are beautiful. What a great looking guitar. The mahogany they used on that guitar's neck is awesome. Looks like another winner for Ovation. |

| If they are hitting stores, why doesn't the Ovation website have listings with info yet? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Tim. Thanks for the info on the countertops. How about YOU mention it to my wife? She figured as long as they were coming to measure for the counters why not measure for the travertine floor tiles and carpet as well. And are solid oak stairs really more expensive than carpet? This is worse than GAS. It's called HIS (Home Improvement Syndrome). Problem is that two of her friends are interior decorators with well off husbands. Why do these women always have to have what their friends have? Why can't they be mroe like us guys with our guitars? |

We are in the middle of a major renovation to our house: FULL NEW KITCHEN w/ Granite Tile Counters, Expanding Master Bath, relocating Laundry room, adding pantry, new windows all around, new roof, new furnace/ac units, new patio... and every time the decisions need to be made, the answer is: "Well my parents have this one (or this type)"!!!
...and I still can't seem to get a guitar out if the deal! :( |
