Location: Vernon, CT | There is an excellent trout stream right next to the factory. Since I live in CT and will be driving I always keep my fishing gear in the trunk of the car. Maybe I'll drown a couple of worms before or after. Plus, I'll either have my Balladeer LX or Legend LX with me. It will be a very good day! Play On!

Location: Keller, TX | Another question about the tour.... never been to one.
I was reviewing the members' albums and noticed that at the beginning of the tour, everyone took their guitars out of their cars. Why was that? Did the factory request you to bring them (to get a once over??) or where they just to show off to everyone else? |

2 reasons:
a.) to "show off" your guitar
3.) it makes it easier to have an "AfterTour Jam" when you bring some gitters . . .
actually, there's usually a PreTour Jam, a Pre-PreTour Jam, an AfterTour Jam . . . . and a HungoverLastSurvivor Jam . . . . . (amongst others). |

We went straight from the hotel to the factory to the post-tour dinner/jam/beer drinkin'! So took our guitars everywhere!
My good friend, Mike (he and his wife showed up at the post-tour jam, brought a non-O mandolin ~GASP~, but we're easy, TRBoy actually played it on stage with our impromptu group: myself, TRBoy, Hizzoner and Steve Chapman [look for a reunion tour soon!], but we made him stand way in the back) lives just a few miles from the factory and wants to host a Saturday jam/party at his place. They have enough room for all of us outside and a barn he has set up as a studio to boot!!!
Imagine we'll start needing to get signed up to attend soon..... |
