Location: Vernon, CT | I wrote the Ovation factory and got the following e-mail from Rick Hall. Apparently, Dillion Guitars likes to copycat and do cheap ripoffs of several guitars. Plus, Ovation has locked horns with these guys befores. See Rick's response below.

You may already be aware of the cheap Ovation copies Dillion Guitar is
offering but thought I'd share this information with you if you were
not. Some of us in the Ovation Fan Club just discovered this by
accident via a guitar for sale on E-Bay. I have six Ovations and think
they are fantastic but these cheap rip-offs are disheartening. Thanks
