Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Wow. A couple of "my kids" were here, and I had each of them pick a number. If I picked a number while they did too, mine came up. If I didn't, theirs came up, even though I was controlling the mouse. They say that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. (Until it is understood.) THIS is magic to me! |

If you do the math as they ask, your answer will always be a multiple of 9. |

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | Multiply 9 (or a multiple of 9) by any other number, then add the numbers of the answer together and you will get 9.
eg. 99 x 6 = 594
5 + 9 + 4 = 18
1 + 8 = 9
999 x 20 = 19980
1 + 9 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 27
2 + 7 = 9
9 x 4321 = 3889
3 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 9 = 36
3 + 6 = 9 |

3 + 6 = 9 My birthday is 9/9/1962.
1 + 9 + 6 + 2 = 18 , 1 + 8 = 9
so it's 9/9/9
I have many good things in my life that have to do with multiples of 9.
Not that I put much stock in that  but it's fun. |

Not easy, just maddening. |

Location: big island | i find it works best by giving a gentle pull on the string and dropping the cursor quickly to meet the ball halfway and clicking. i am using a trackball type mouse which is probably most conducive for this method. |

I forget most people are still using meeces.
I hear it's easier with a touch pad, but haven't bothered to try it on the laptop yet. |

Years ago, I did make one with cut tree stumps placed in a swamp.
These days.... tiles, carpet squares, cinder blocks... |
