Bracing Patterns

There has been some talk about the X bracing having better acoustics than the A brace. Where does the "fan" brace fit in. Is it A style and how does it rate with the others? moody, p.i. Tossing it into a discussion on the X bracing pattern vs the A pattern, really wouldn't apply.
