| Hey,
I'm new to the Ovation scene. I'm looking for a new accoustic guitar. Because the prices in germany are a lot cheaper than in Belgium, I am checking a lot of german online shops. I'm very interested in the Celebrity Deluxe CC247. A lot of german shops have these in their shop. Now when I look on the excel file on the Ovation website I see that this model is made in 1995 and 1996 (http://www.ovationguitars.com/img/customerserv/pricehistory.xls). It seem a little bit strange that all these shops sell guitars from almost 10 years old?
I also doesn't find a lot of info about this guitar. Does the number CC-247 stands for something or are these just random numbers? Can somebody give some extra information about these guitars? Thanks in advance.

I think you'll find this guitar is in current production.
(Correction edit) OOPS, my bad, this is a link to the CS247 not CC247. You may well be right concerning theCC 247. Also I do not think that Ovation posts eveything they do in the export market on their website. | |
